So, what does a girl do on Thanksgiving when she's got a pageant in a little over a week?  Well, play a little football of course.  And in a tutu no less!

We started out our turkey day with our annual neighborhood turkey bowl.  I decided to leave the bedazzled Neufeld jersey in the closet and pull out a tutu instead.  Not to be overshadowed, Bryn had to put a tutu on too, just like her mom.
And when she saw my pink gloves, Bryn just had to put on her "glubs" too.  She quickly realized they posed a problem them - there would be no thumbsucking with glubs on.  So, mommy made it all better.

During our turkey bowl halftime, I had to school Bryn on one of the most important things in life - football.

After the game, we rushed home to change so we could head down to Highland Park Village to have Thanksgiving at Marquee Bar & Grill.  I decided not to cook this year with the Mrs. Texas pageant next weekend.  I don't have the willpower to ignore Thanksgiving leftovers in the fridge.  But dinner was great!  Bryn even ate all of her turkey after vowing she wasn't hungry.

As if this day couldn't be more special, it's Ryan's birthday!  We have so much to be thankful for.
Hope everyone had an awesome turkey day!
