Great way to wrap up the week!!!

We had a very special guest on The Broadcast this morning - comedian Rob Schneider!  This guy had us in stitches - no doubt the folks who head to the Addison Improv to see him tonight will be rollin'!  Better yet, he dropped some knowledge on some not-so-funny topics - I was thoroughly impressed with his stance on pharmaceuticals (overuse) and vaccines.  Check out clips at www.thebroadcasttv.com.

Neufeld, Party of 9

I got the call Friday afternoon - we'd put in an application to adopt the most adorable kitten a couple of weeks ago and he was ready to come home.  Now there are four humans, one dog, three cats and a fish in this house.  Introducing Frisco the cat!

Star Power on The Broadcast

What can I say?  My job has some definite perks.  Like when actor, writer, director extraordinaire Marc Menchaca stopped by the show...

But the absolute highlight of the week... interviewing one of my favorite country music groups Parmalee.  These guys are the real deal - super nice and unbelievably talented.  I hope my mic was closed while I was singing along to "Carolina."

Special Olympics

Will competed in the games today in Little Elm - he's our champ!

It's been an eventful couple of weeks...

I've always wondered what it would be like to be involved in something that went viral.  Well, it happened last week.  On one of my day's off (thank God), my co-hosts got into a bit of an argument about Michael Sam's gay draft day kiss.  Over 1,000,000 views later, let's just say last week was quite eventful.  I'm going to refrain from commenting on the situation except to say that I will always support gay rights and marriage equality.  If you missed what happened, click on this link:

On the flip side, it's been a great couple weeks on the show.  We've had some really incredible guests.  I'm glad things are finally getting back to normal.

Prom Night 2014!!!

A couple weeks ago, my good friend Jayne introduced me to Mr. Jordan Paul.  Jordan is a senior at Royse City High and was looking for a prom date.  This intelligent, funny, handsome young man just happens to have autism.  But I could tell last night that he's the popular kid in school.  And after we showed up last night in my friend James's Ferrari, I think he's going to be even more popular!  I surprised him with the sweet ride - JP was thrilled!  I've got to send a special shout out to my buddy for loaning me the car.  Heck, I didn't want to give it back today!

It was such a fun night - certainly memorable for us both!
